Department of Accounting

Freshman Applicants

A high school diploma with a minimum average score as determined by Apex University’s admissions standards.
Strong academic records in relevant subjects based on the intended major (e.g., English for Education majors, Social Sciences for Sociology and Criminal Justice majors).
Demonstrated commitment to learning and interest in societal development.

Transfer Students

Completion of at least one academic year at a recognized institution.
A minimum GPA as set by the University’s transfer policy, typically a 3.0 or equivalent.
Relevant coursework matching the college’s curriculum requirements for credit transfer.

Freshman Students

Sophomore Year: Intermediate courses focusing on field-specific knowledge and research skills, plus general electives.
Junior Year: Advanced specialization courses, project-based learning, and preparatory courses for internships.
Senior Year: Capstone project or thesis, intensive field practicums, and elective courses to support career goals.

Students can earn a degree from the College of Education and Liberal Arts by completing all required coursework and credit hours as per the specific program’s requirements, along with any fieldwork or capstone projects. Each department offers a structured pathway:

Our Dedicated Faculty

The College of Education and Liberal Arts is supported by a dedicated team of 19 instructional staff members, including six instructors and one lab attendant in the Department of Computer Science, four instructors in the Department of Civil Engineering, four instructors in Mathematics, and two instructors each in Physics and Chemistry.
